yes, every single teenager has access to some form of technology, whether it be a cell phone or computer. in here are those boards for your cell phones, instant messenger, twitter and so on.

every character needs those photos of their childhoods, piss ups and the terrible teenager years.

every person needs a diary to write their deepest darkest secrets. make sure you don't get caught reading them!

each dorm at brookland academy houses six girls, regardless of age and species. they're huge rooms, each equipped with an en suite and enough space for everyone's belongings.

Sub-board: female dorm one

a massive chandelier is the main centrepiece of the dining hall; which in itself is an impressive room. tables are scattered all over the hall, with food being served along one side of the room. it might appear to be like a normal canteen, but the room itself is grand.

the banquet hall is used for special occasions only: balls, dances, start and end of term feasts. sometimes special announcements and assemblies will be held in this lavish room. however, when the banquet hall is not being used the doors are firmly locked. the staff are strict on the students leaving the beautiful room alone.

the auditorium is used by the staff to hold important announcements, or for those artistic students to put on plays. the auditorium is never empty.

the counsellor rooms are used for the students who are struggling to adjust as a supernatural creature in the real world, and find it hard to hide their secret. of course, many students are forced to attend these therapy sessions; usually the more vicious creatures.

communal showers are the only way forward at brookland academy. gender separated, the showers have very little privacy but are supplied with a generous amount of hot water. however, these showers are only used when the students own private bathrooms are out of use.

the classrooms of brookland academy are neat, tidy and often full of intelligent students. however, there's always a select handful who'll bunk lessons and prefer to spend their time in their dorms.

yet another separate building, the school decided to build another block to hold the musicians, artists and drama dreamers. the ground floor holds three huge art rooms, the first floor holds the drama and dance studio, and the top holds a studio and many music rooms. it's still considered new in the eyes of the teenagers. for now.

after refurbishing the original library into another classroom, the school spent some serious cash to build an adjoining building onto the original academy. it's two floors: the ground holds the enormous library, and the top floor has many computer suites.

the outdoor pool is only open for three hours a day. it's far too close to the more dangerous parts of the forest for the guides to be happy, and there isn't enough people willing to sit around and be life guards. however, if the sun is high then the pool is a lovely place to be.

no one is quite sure how long the forest goes on for, but everyone knows that only the first half is safe. you never know what you'll find lurking in those trees.

a cliche name, but the lake was named far too long ago for anyone to consider changing it, or to remember who actually gave it that name. the lake is calm, and clear, and has a small cliff by the side of it. skinny dipping? i think so.
